take a look at one of our favorite shots from our photoshoot two weekends ago

we scheduled our photoshoot three weeks in advance and hoped that a Sunday in late october in Minnesota would be warm enough to get a couple quick shots in. We were so lucky and got an AMAZING sunny, 70 degree day! Our model Jordan didn't even want to change out of the tanks, it was that gorgeous out!!

The Show!

Sarah and I are working hard to take this collection to the next step, one of which being a website to sell our clothing on! Meet Sarah!

Co-founder of MAI, Sarah graduated from UW-Stout with a degree in Apparel Design and Development in 2011. She brings experience in designing, technical design, patternmaking, store management and buying. She is excited to be working with Emma and loves how they each bring a unique aspect to the team. She can't wait to finally launch the line and see how everyone reacts to it and hopefully everyone loves it as much as they do!

Meet Emma!

Co-founder of MAI, Emma graduated from UW-Stout with a degree in Apparel Design and Development in 2010. With work experiences in design, product development, technical design and textiles she is excited to put her varied skills to use – when you are starting something on your own, you do it all! She is thrilled to be working with Sarah to create an active wear collection that is truly inspired by the women they see every day.

Meet Mary!

Mary is a part of the original design team - she helped create the brand MAI as we know it now. At this time Mary is living in New York City and is pursuing her fashion career. Mary is one of the most talented designers we know and wish her the best in her move, but is missed as Sarah and Emma continue to grow the brand. Mary is a strong supporter of MAI and continues to get involved whenever she can.

Who is MAI?

MAI: I AM enough

MAI is created by Emma Holcomb and Sarah McArdle - two designers from Minnesota with a passion for dreaming, exploring and creating. This line is inspired by the women we see every day: they love being active as much as they love taking time to enjoy their day. That is why we have created a collection that can go with you from the yoga studio, out to dinner and end your day with you on the couch.

Our mantra is I AM enough. We believe that who you are is exactly who you should be. We recognize the importance in challenging yourself to become the best you possible, but feel that at the end of the day it is loving yourself, as you are, that can bring you the most peace. 

We hope you love our first collection as much as we do. Please join us on our journey.
